2022 – 2023 Registration Form
Please print the registration form and submit it with your payment on the appropriate registration date.
1. On November 15, our priority registration will begin for two groups:
Returning Students: All current ECC students in our 2's & 3's programs in good standing are eligible to register starting on November 15. Returning students from our current 2's & 3's are guaranteed a spot for next year as long as you register during the priority period from November 15 — November 23. There is no need to rush on November 15 to get your registration form in for a returning student, but you do need to register by November 23 to secure a spot.
Members: Current Community Synagogue members in good standing may register beginning on November 15. In order to be eligible, your membership must be received and processed BEFORE noon on Friday, November 12. Please note that Gift Members are NOT eligible for registration on November 15. As long as you register during the priority period from November 15 — November 23 you will receive priority registration.
2. On November 29, registration will begin for ECC Alumni families, current Synagogue Gift Members, Grown Up and Me Families, and Grandchildren of Community Synagogue Members who are in good standing.
We will not be accepting applications on a first come, first serve basis. Therefore, there is no reason for you to come to school early in the morning to be “first in line.”
We will begin to accept registration forms at 8:00 am. The forms will be collected and put into a pile. When you drop off your form, you will select a random number from a basket. The number that you choose will represent the order in which your form will be processed. For example, if you choose number 7, your child's form will be the seventh one that we process.
We feel that this “lottery system” is the fairest way to ensure that everyone has an equal chance of being accepted into our program. As long as you bring in your form between November 29 and December 3, you will be included in this lottery system.
3. On December 6, registration will open to the community.
We will begin to accept registration forms at 8:00 am. We will be using the same procedure that is described above. We feel that this “lottery system” is the fairest way to ensure that everyone has an equal chance of being accepted into our program.
4. Each family will need to submit his or her or own registration form. We will not accept forms that are brought in for you by another ECC parent. If you are not able to submit your own form, please contact the ECC Office.
We understand that this is a lot of information to digest. If you would like to speak with us for further clarification, please call the ECC Office at 516-441-0841.
