Shalom Synagogue Village

Shalom Synagogue Village
For your Mind, your Body and your Spirit
A new initiative offering programming to members of four neighborhood synagogues (The Community Synagogue, Port Jewish Center, Temple Beth Israel, and the Reconstructionist Synagogue of the North Shore) ages 55 and above.
We are hoping these programs give you fun and exciting new ways to connect to your synagogue community. The Shalom Synagogue Village also provides the opportunity to meet and foster new relationships with members of other local synagogues, further deepening your connection to the synagogue community and the greater Port Washington area.
New programs are being added regularly. Please check back with us.

BEYOND THE CAREER
Wednesday, 12/17 I 12:00 - 1:30 pm
We've been having some great discussions about what's next after a successful career. There is 1 session left. We'd love to have you join us! Please sign up and pay for a minimum of 3 sessions.
PLAY READING GROUP: MODERN AMERICAN JEWISH PLAYWRIGHTS
The Port Washington Public Library
10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 12/3 and 12/10 I 7:15 - 8:45 pm![]()
Reading a play aloud around a table brings out qualities you just can’t get by reading it silently by yourself. We’ll discuss the work as little or as much as the group desires. Our goal is to enjoy the play as a piece of theater, not as a literary text.
The group will be led by Marilyn Oser, member of TBI.
