The School Day
The Community Synagogue Early Childhood Center first opened its doors
in 1984, and since then, has provided premier early childhood education to families in Port Washington and surrounding communities. Since its inception, as more young families moved to town, our ECC enrollment increased, paving the way for our most recent building upgrade, which was completed in 2008. Our current-day, state-of-the-art educational facility was designed to meet the growing needs of young children to play and explore in a safe and secure environment.

Early Drop Off
To assist families who require a longer day at school for their child, we offer Early Drop Off at an additional cost. Early Drop off is available Monday - Friday, beginning at 7:45 a.m.

After School Enrichment Programming
At the conclusion of the school day, we offer optional after school enrichment programming for children in our 3’s and 4’s classes. Each class is 45 minutes long.

Stay & Play
Beginning in January, children in our 2’s program have the option to participate in our “Stay & Play” program, which extend their regular school day by one hour. The program will run from 12:40 PM to 1:40 PM and offers your child the opportunity for socialization and engagement in age-appropriate activities with their classroom teachers.
