Mitzvah Project Guide
Mitzvah Project Guide
Being engaged in good deeds is part of our Religious School curriculum, but we also want you to do an act of kindness (g’milut chasadim) individually. Here are some opportunities to help you consider ideas for how you might like to volunteer with The Community Synagogue, in our local Port Washington community, to support Israel and more. A red asterisk * indicates a local organization where you can volunteer in person.
We encourage you to make your gift to a cause with some connection to Jewish life or Israel since this is in honor of your becoming a B’nai Mitzvah. Here are some suggested organizations that our congregation has given to in recent years.
