Kol Nidrei Annual Appeal

Dear Friends,

With the High Holidays upon us, we pause and reflect on our many blessings, including you, our congregants, and your commitment to our synagogue. Thank you for being part of our community, sharing life’s journey, and helping us create a Kehillah Kedoshah, a sacred community. We are stronger and better because of you.

We, the current and past presidents of The Community Synagogue, have been honored to lead our congregation and are proud of its evolution and many accomplishments. We continue to be a congregation that is growing and vibrant, making a difference in people’s lives, educating our youth, participating in acts of loving kindness, and sharing moments of joy and sorrow.

This year is one of profound transition for our congregation as we celebrate the remarkable 22-year legacy of Rabbi Z, who is retiring. His leadership has shaped and strengthened our community, and while we commemorate his contributions, we also look forward with hope as we begin the search for a new rabbi to guide us into the future. This period of reflection, commemoration, and renewal reinforces our commitment to building a strong and sacred future together.

This past year has also been challenging, with the conflict in Israel weighing heavily on our hearts. Yet, during difficult times, our Jewish community has always come together with strength, compassion, and unity. It is this spirit that inspires us to continue building sacred connections and supporting one another.
 
During these Days of Awe, please consider supporting our annual Kol Nidrei campaign. Your donations are vital in sustaining the day-to-day operations of our Community Synagogue. It is customary during this time to honor loved ones who have passed, and making a donation to the Kol Nidrei Campaign can be a meaningful tribute in their memory. Once again, we are seeking 100% participation at any level that is comfortable for you. Please give as generously as your heart and financial circumstances allow.
