The Teen Program at The Community Synagogue offers meaningful, fun, and inclusive experiences for Jewish teens in grades 8–12. Designed to fit busy schedules, our in-house programs run throughout the school year and provide opportunities to build friendships, explore Jewish identity, and make a difference through hands-on service.

Our program supports the educational goals of The Community Synagogue religious school by:

Creating Community: Teens connect with peers in a welcoming, supportive environment
that fosters lasting relationships and a strong sense of belonging.

Strengthening Jewish Identity: Through holiday celebrations, interactive discussions, and
values-based experiences, teens discover what Judaism means to them—on their terms.

Inspiring Action: From mitzvah projects to social justice initiatives, teens engage in acts
of tikkun olam (repairing the world) that reflect their passions and Jewish values.

Building Leadership: Teens are encouraged to take initiative, share their voices, and grow
as leaders within our community and beyond.

Whether it’s baking for a cause, discussing big ideas over s’mores, or participating in a creative
service project, our teen events are crafted to be meaningful, relevant, and easy to join.

Come for the fun. Stay for the impact. Belong to something bigger.
