Take a Challah Home for Shabbat
 

The L'dor V'dor Early Childhood Center's challah program saves you time and money by bringing challah to your home every week through the ECC.  Zuckerbakers Bakery in Plainview has been delivering challah to The Community Synagogue for over 10 years. Their quality homemade products are all pareve, peanut, tree nut, sesame and dairy free. Egg-free (water) challah is available upon request.

The ECC challah program is a year-long, optional program that runs from September through the end of May. For ECC families, the first challah of the 2025-2026 school year will be delivered in time for Shabbat on Friday, September 19th, and will be sent home with your ECC child at the end of the school day.

Your challah will be available for pick up in the Main Office on Friday mornings.

The total cost for the school year will be $260.00.
