Community Synagogue Youth

CSY is the NEW youth organization at The Community Synagogue. CSY consists of 3 separate youth groups.

The Senior Youth Group is open to all Jewish high school teens (9th-12th grade).

We welcome all Jewish youth in the Port Washington and closely surrounding areas to join us at any and all events throughout the year. We have a calendar packed with a ton of exciting events including community service projects, trips and overnights, educational and religious experiences and many social events.

CSY is also actively involved with NFTY; the North American Federation of Temple Youth (part of the Reform movement). We participate in regional and national programs getting to know Jewish teens all over the world.

The coming year is bound to produce many great and exciting memories which we hope you will share with us. From volunteering at a soup kitchen in NYC, to dinner and a Broadway show, to learning from our clergy, to going white water rafting, CSY is an amazing way for students to get connected with other Jewish Youth in a safe, nurturing and fun environment.
