We believe in the centrality of Jewish education. For many years, confirmation has been in eleventh grade. We believe that it is part of our mission to set the standard to which other congregations might want to aspire. Moreover, our Early Childhood Center, with more than 120 children, is the most popular nursery school in Port Washington, and there is a waiting list to enroll.

We believe that religious education is a citizenship responsibility of all members of the synagogue. Therefore, there are no separate religious school fees, other than materials and consumable textbooks.

Finally, we strive to be a Learning Congregation -- with all that this entails. We are a part of the UAHC Experiment in Congregational Education program, and we are dedicated to infusing learning into every aspect of synagogue life
