The Community Synagogue

How many times in our lives do we have the chance to do things that will really matter for years to come? We have been given a gift. Each of us has the rare opportunity to reinvent our synagogue.

We need to put our hearts together to embrace each other and our future. We need to put our hands together to finish a Learning Center and Youth Lounge where our youth can learn and grow towards Jewish commitment, a Chapel for more intimate prayer and life cycle events, Meeting Space for social and other events that will bring us closer to each other, and the beginning of an Endowment to protect our future financial needs. Having done this, we will accomplish something that will, for years to come, bring us closer to each other and to God.

This is not a project for the few, but for all of us. This is why we have named it B'Yachad (All Together). Why is it important to have 100% of our congregants be involved to the very best of their ability? To demonstrate that this is a project of all of us, for all of us.

We are truly grateful for whatever you can do to support this project. But please, if you have not yet pledged your support, we need to ask you now to join and participate. And for those of you who have already pledged, we ask you to consider increasing your gift. Remember, pledges can be fulfilled over as long as five years, so please pledge as much as you can.

To truly be a community, we need to act like a community. Let us must complete this project together now.
